(Click here for an update from Gary about his new book)
Gary underwent a powerful spiritual awakening in the early 1990s. As instructed by two ascended masters who appeared to him in the flesh, he wrote his first best-selling book, The Disappearance of the Universe, based on the teachings of A Course in Miracles, over a period of nine years. He was later guided to speak in public and has recently been described as one of the most interesting and courageous spiritual speakers in the world. Gary’s second book, Your Immortal Reality, was also a best-seller.
Over the past five years, Gary has spoken in 41 states, 13 countries, and was the keynote speaker at the International A Course in Miracles Conferences in Salt Lake City and San Francisco. He is also the most recent recipient of the Infinity Foundation Spirit Award. The award is given to a person who has made a meaningful contribution to personal and spiritual growth. Past recipients include Dan Millman, Ram Dass, Gary Zukav, James Redfield and Neale Donald Walsch.
A Course in Miracles (also referred to as ACIM or the Course), written by Dr. Helen Schucman and Dr. William Thetford, and first published in 1976, describes a purely non-dualistic approach to spirituality. Schucman dictated the book based on an inner voice, which she described as coming from a divine source, specifically Jesus Christ. The book uses traditional Judeo-Christian terminology, but is not aligned to the doctrines of any religions or denominations.
Since it first became available for sale, over 1.5 million copies have been sold worldwide in nineteen different languages. The Combined Volume, Third Edition of A Course in Miracles, is the only edition that contains in one place, all of the writings that Dr. Helen Schucman authorized to be printed. It is published solely by the Foundation for Inner Peace, the organization chosen by Dr. Schucman for this purpose.
A noted teacher of A Course In Miracles, Gary offers a way of looking at the world that leads to fearlessness and the full flowering of the human spirit. The long-term result of practicing the knowledge gained during this retreat will be enlightenment and the end of reincarnation, once and for all. Come awaken from the dream!
